Testimony before NYC Council about the City's Purchase of Mortgages through the Community Restoration Program - Feb 2017

Our Executive Director, Christie Peale, addresses the New York City Council Economic Development Committee and Housing and Buildings Committee on the City’s purchase of mortgages through the Community Restoration Program. The Program is a result of the Center for NYC Neighborhoods’ partnership with HPD, MHANY Management, Inc., Neighborhood Restore Housing Development Fund Corporation, and the National Stabilization Trust that allowed to approach the FHA to negotiate a purchase of NYC mortgages.
