New York State Mortgage Assistance Program (NYS-MAP) is no longer taking new applications. For more information on lending products for homeowners, please visit Sustainable Neighborhoods, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Center for NYC Neighborhoods.
The New York State Mortgage Assistance Program provided 0% interest mortgage loans of up to $40,000 to eligible New York homeowners at risk of foreclosure.
Residential Technical Assistance Pilot Program (RTAPP) provided flood resiliency audits by licensed engineers that assessed individual flood risk and mitigation options. The program provided individual home resiliency counseling sessions and provided participants with elevation certificates that could be used by their flood insurance provider to more accurately assess their risks and lower their flood insurance payments.
