Homeowner Help Desk

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

The East New York Homeowner Help Desk is a free homeowner outreach and assistance program developed through a collaborative effort between New York City Council Member Rafael Espinal, New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, the Center for NYC Neighborhoods, and community-based organizations offering housing counseling and legal services.

Take a survey

Please complete the Help Desk’s homeowner survey to help us better understand homeowner needs. The survey can be taken online, over the phone by calling 646-786-0888, or in person at an upcoming Help Desk location. Survey participants who give us their contact information will be automatically entered into a drawing for one of five $100 gift card prizes. Winners will be contacted by phone and email after each drawing. Read the contest rules here.

The Center for NYC Neighborhoods and its community-based partners take the privacy of your personal information very seriously. Please note that:

Your name will not be associated with your survey responses.

Your personally identifiable information (such as your name, address, phone number, and/or email) will not be shared with third parties. This information will be used for the sole purpose of contacting the five winners of the drawings for the $100 cash prize.

We will treat all survey responses as confidential and only share the information gathered in the aggregate with relevant funders and partners in order to better understand homeowner needs.
